Evolution's send-receive blanked out

Folks,

I've been running evolution 6.2.1 on 6.01 along side sylpheed-claws with
a view toward moving completely to evo. When I brought Evo up today, I
noticed that the send-receive button is unhighlighted (gray text,
instead of black), as is the send-receive (F9) entry in the File menu.
And a timed receive doesn't work either. Evolution was working fully
yesterday...

I've tried running evo in a terminal, but no error messages show up
to suggest something isn't starting right...

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this (I've already uninstalled,
then reinstalled).
