Misunderstandings can happen. I don't think I've misunderstood because I
earlier restated your position and you confirmed it. You've also written
your position in essentially the same words that I've used.

I have made an effort to be respectful of you. It is not my fault then
if you take it personally. It seems that you have gone out of your way
to provoke. I would be grateful if you didn't. Turning these discussions
into personal issues helps no one. It simply raises the level of "heat"
in the discussion and polarizes the issue.

I honestly, truly have not tried to attack you. I'm sure you are an
intelligent person with good intentions and simply take some emails a
little too personally (and I don't hold that against you, you are human).

I'm not sure if I understand, but I think that you are referring to the
fact that I'm trying to be polite. Maybe I'm trying to keep the heat
down. Maybe I feel that personal attacks are wrong, so I go out of my
way to avoid them. If you feel that this gives me an unfair advantage in
the discussion, there is an easy solution, you could be polite to me as
well.

Best,
Daniel.
