Failing kernel 2.6.15-25.43 src build: DEVLIST zddevlist.h

I just tried building -25 with a running -25 environment/kernel.  Same 
problems.

For what it's worth, the /boot/config* control still mystifies me.  I 
copied my /boot/config* file to the seeming proper place in the git-based 
build area, but I did not see such a mechanism for the linus-source-*-based 
build stuff.

As you can tell, I'm a bit lost.  Thanks for any help.
