I haven't tried with 6.10, but I tried and got it working on 6.06 with
my HowTo posted @

The method, I would imagine, would nearly be the same since it's using
the source code to build an installation. However, please not any
differences in kernal versions with Ubuntu 6.10 as well as differences
in versions of GCC. I'm assuming all would well with those instructions
slightly modified... let me know in the post](*,)
