Yeah, nvi. I didn't know about the differences. (Rhetorical
questions: With what? Sun's version of vi or very old AT&T versions?)
I suspect that nvi ("A 4.4BSD re-implementation of vi") is about
as "real vi" as is available.

nvi supports these cursor keys: h, j, k, and l :)
And IIRC, FreeBSD's non-vim vi supported the arrow keys, but I
don't know if it was nvi or what.
