Getting wifi to work

Ok after fighting with Ubuntu to get my WIFI with WEP to work I finally
did...

I had to use the HEX key not the ASCII.... This is what I think did the
trick.
Ubuntu WiFi support is a bit lacking when you look at SuSE10.1
offering. Which is not perfect.. but is damb good when compared to
anthing I  have seen for linux so far.

If changing to hex does not fixe it for you... along the way I compiled
and install the latest release of madwifi...

I was close to re-installing SuSE on my laptop...now ill hold off a bit
and hope they improve the wifi offering...
