Sticky Note Problem

If all you want to do is shut down the sticky note just either right
click in the task bar notification area for sticky note and click
close, or hit Ctrl+Alt+Esc, (note the cursor will now be a skull &
crossbones).  Move the cursor into the sticky note and click.  It will
now be gone.  Nothing will be saved so only do this as a last resort. 
You will also note that when you right click in the task bar there will
be an option to -move-.  Click this, use the cursor buttons on your
keyboard and move the window until you can see the title bar, then
shutdown or save normally.
