xChat Problem BadPixmap

got a problem with xChat too. the program has been uninstalled when
upgrading to dapper, now i try to install again - with the 'add/remove
programs' facility in applications, and with synaptic, and with both
proccesses i get this error message:


E: hplip: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
E: ubuntu-desktop: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
