nah, it's for the 32 bit version. I have not had much luck with 64 bit Linux as there isn't enough official support for it yet. Hopefully someday though!

I know this is the going to sound like a stupid question! But, did you install the 32-bit, or 64-bit version? Don't be insulted because I'm asking! I have both versions on CD, but I don't have a 64-bit unit yet. So, I haven't tried it! If it doesn't work right, I probably won't try it!

Wow, I'm even more sad than before. Just for grins and giggles I tried
the regular k7 kernel, and it locked up as well but I was able to move
the mouse. It appears that I may have something else going on here.
The only kernel that I can use that doesn't cause a lockup is the
regular 386 one. Where do I begin to try and figure out what's wrong?
