p == package is not at all in the system, not a trace.
c == package was deleted but its configuration files remain.
v == virtual package

For example, ubuntu-desktop is a virtual package. It doesn't have any 
sofware, but just a bunch of dependencies like Gnome, Totem, Firefox and 
OpenOffice.
