Run 

sudo update-alternatives --config  java

and choose one - probably you'll want the sun-java5 one, which looks like

/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/jre/bin/java

You just type the number - it's a matter of a few seconds.
You don't need both the 1.4 and 1.5 plugins .
