Removal of OS help

You mean, he wants to use the disk space that Ubuntu occupies ?
Well, he can just use windows to delete all the Ubuntu partitions, and
reformat in FAT32 or NTFS or NTFS.
Before dleeting Ubuntu, you could boot it one last time, and reconfigure
GRUB, so as to remove all entries but Windows, and make it boot Windows
automatically.

OTHO, if he doesn't mind to re-install Windows, that's the easiest way
to wipe Ubuntu, since Windows will remove GRUB altogether without even
asking anything...
