removable drives no longer automount after upgrade to dapper

I am having the same problems as others no usb and no cd and dvd. I
fixed the usb by reinstalling the following:

hal (0.5.7-1ubuntu1

hal-device-manager (0.5.7-1ubuntu1

hwdb-client (0.6-0ubuntu10)

But I am still having problems with cd and dvd, both attempt to mount
open a window and I get the following error:



Error: Malformed url



Whilst attempting to mount konqueror points to media:/hdd

Mounting is possible from the shell but I want to mount from icon on
dektop.
