I'm thinking about giving the upgrade to dapper a shot, but I want to have
a good complete backup that I can boot from before I start. I thought the
way to go was to use mondo to create the archive. Unfortunately mindi
doesn't seem to work under breezy. I checked the bug database and nobody
else seems to be having this difficulty.

Here's the error:

/usr/sbin/mindi: line 2345: syntax error near unexpected token `|'
/usr/sbin/mindi: line 2345: ` while [ "`echo "$newo" | grep "\.\."`" ] ; do'

Any suggestions on getting this to work would be appreciated.

If these are completely broken under Ubuntu, what about partimage? How
difficult is it to do a restore from partimage?

Thanks,
