3com OfficeConnect: working on breezy, fail on dapper. Any help?

Doesn't the PCMCIA version of the 3Com OfficeConnect card have an
Atmel chip? The atmel drivers are included in the current Dapper
kernels, together with the needed firmware. I'm talking about cards
with model numbers 3CRSHPW696 and -196.
