I used a set I got from Ubuntu, either in an email or from the
website, but I can't find them again. Most annoying. If I do
come across them, I'll send them to you. Meanwhile, from my notes...

The Ubuntu instructions mentioned 3 different ways of upgrading:
using the update manager, using the CDROM, and some techie
hacking that I ignored.

The CDROM instructions had two parts. The first was what you said
to edit in the sources.list file. The second part was:
Run  sudo apt-cdrom add
Insert CD, press <Enter>
Run  sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrad

Cheers, Jean
