swsusp: cannot find swap device - or is it an ACPI error?

Is the path to the swap device hardcoded somewhere in the kernel?

I'm using swap on LVM, and can't hibernate my laptop (asus m5200n).
All I get is

swsusp: cannot find swap device - try swapon -a

In fact, ooking through dmesg, I'm not sure this is the cause
anyway. Anyone know acpi from a hole in the ground?
