Kernel IP autoconfiguration and hostname

i have no idea who wrote that document, but its making everything overly
complicated (as the ThinClientHowto does, thats the reason why we wrote
new docs for dapper setups that hopefully nobody will clutter)

use the commands from:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuLTSP/LTSPQuickInstall 

then run:
sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386 apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

thats all you should need, your diskless workstation should boot to a
desktop ...

(indeed you'll need to do your user management etc inside the chroot,
DisklessUbuntuHowto doesnt mention that anywhere)
