Sound related hot keys not working

Please unload the snd_intel8x0 driver and reload it using the following
procedure (make sure you log out of GNOME and into a text console,
ctrl+alt+F1, first):

$ sudo modprobe -r snd_intel8x0
$ sudo modprobe snd_intel8x0 ac97_quirk=hp_only

Then switch back to the graphical greeter (alt+F7) and log in. Try using
your volume hotkeys.

If the above procedure resolves your issue, please file a bug report in
Launchpad against the linux-source-2.6.15 source package and attach this
transcript and the output from ``lspci -nv''.
