ndiswrapper issues

Hi,

I configured ndiswrapper under hoary with no problems. It worked
straight out of the box. I upgraded to dapper, and now ndiswrapper
refuses to work.

A couple symptoms:

1) My card used to be listed as wlan0, now, it is eth1 (though, that
may be a fuzzy memory from when I was running Gentoo).
2) If I run iwconfig eth1, I will see my card's MAC address
3) If I run iwlist eth1 scanning, I will get "Interface doesn't
support scanning : No such device."

The card is a Dell 1350, and has worked properly under this
configuration before, though I recall this card having issues with
newer versions of ndiswrapper. I might consider downgrading tonight
just to be sure. I am running the driver described by AR/bcmwl5a.inf.

Anybody know what to do?
