Dapper x64 Live CD - Video Problem

Anyone had the chance to try an Nvidia 6600 pci-e video card on an
Athlon 64 system using the Desktop live-cd X64 edition?  Mine insists
that the max resolution is 640x480 with that card.

I had to manually edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and feed it the vesa driver to
get a res higher than 640x480 (man, did we really use to think that was
high-resolution??? :)
