I fear there is no equivalent for this under Linux.

Macromedia (now Adobe) used to make Mac and Windows programs only. A
possible solution could be running Flash under Wine. Flash 8 on Dapper
runs flawlessly on Ubuntu Dapper with Wine. See 'here'

If you don't know what Wine is, just bear in mind that it's a program
made to run Windows apps under Linux. Go 'here'
