Ok, I have the same problem, in that the printer spool appears to have the
file ready but nothing gets to the printer. When I changed the cupsd.conf
file to debug level and ran a print session with tail -f
/var/log/cups/error_log the messages say

So the problem appears to be an authentication problem. How can I fix
this? Ifind it so frustrating to set the printer up on the windows machine
to print. Ugh!
