That's happened to me several times with the "official" 1.5.0.x
thunderbird builds.  I believe what happens is prefs.js gets hosed.  The
account information is all gone, but the other things (spam training
data, filters, messages) are all still there.

When you're done re-typing in your server information, you can go to
"Account Settings" and change all your "Local Directory" settings to the
original folders, and you should be back to where you started.
