HP Scanjet 6300C Recommendation?

Hello:

I am looking at acquiring a scanner and the HP Scanjet 6300C is available at
a fair price.  Has anyone used this model with Dapper, which I just upgraded
to and all the "under the hood" work is excellent, and has there been any
major problems?  I am hoping it is just a plug and run operation like my HP
printer.
