I also have a Core Duo Dell. When I select the governor ondemand on the gnome applet it only works for one of the cores (CPU 0), the other remains at userspace. Also cat /proc/cpuinfo shows both cpu MhZ always at top speed. Is speedstep really working as gnome-applet says? -- nischg
