sitar or tools to inventory system?

Hi

How is possible to do an inventory of the deb packages that are on a Breezy box so as to replicate, as far as possible, on a clean install of Dapper?

I have seen a ap called sitar which isn't *yet* available in Ubuntu
repositories though is available
