Right. Or "kpdf" or "xpdf". And you won't have to enter into a
contract with a big corporation agreeing to indemnify them even for
claims by third parties beyond your control. You'll just have to hope
that the alternatives are not infringing some patents or trade
secrets or etc.
The Internet is getting to be such a tangle of legal issues
(unknowable risks of potential IP violations, huge terms-of-service
contracts with outrageous terms full of legalese, ease of being framed
and/or defrauded, ...) that I'm just about to give it all up. But
then I've never been the risk taker that so many others seem to be,
blithely ignoring these indemnity terms and such.
