Xorg memory leak

I've got the same problem here after upgrading to Kubuntu 6.06 from
Breezy yesterday. I've found this morning the Xorg process using 1.5G
virtual memory and 300M Res, I've got 384M of RAM so the desktop was
trashing.

Quitting and getting back in showed a 40M Res Xorg process. After a few
hours it climbed up to 150Meg, I'll see how it goes from there.

I'm running KDE 3.5.3. Standard opened applications are kate, kontact,
firefox , kopete and some other applets.

There seems to be a bug in firefox that probably doesn't help:

https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/39825/

But I wonder if only firefox is the problem. J77 says that it happens
with Matlab. Xorg never used more than 33% of my available memory under
Breezy.

My video driver is radeon. (I have a Radeon M7 on a Apple ppc G3
iBook).
