Dapper chokes on printing graphics

That's an interesting and not-very-straightforward problem you seem to
have. I'm probably not going to be able to help you, since I can't
begin to understand why the drivers worked fine before and not now.
Have you tried the PPD's that come with Dapper, or any others that can
be downloaded from http://www.linuxprinting.org/ ? I can't imagine that
trying another Canon driver would mess up your system in any way.
