No, the version numbering Canonical uses refers to the version (6) and the date it was released (.06 for June). More information is around somewhere, but I don't know where it is. Dapper Drake, 6.06 is the official distribution version jump from v5 to v6. Breezy was 5.10 because it was version 5 released in October. -- mozetti
