Huh.  Weird.  I use Rhythmbox all the time, but I hardly ever use
searches.  Could you give me a set of steps to follow so I can try to
replicate the problem?  If both you and I observe the same thing it's
time for a joint Malone report.  If not, it's time to go digging into
things like ALSA.  (Probably should be "Advanced Linux Architecture for
Sound" instead...  ;) )
