Google outage on July 30

Since Google is a widely used as a resource on this list, I feel it's
on-topic to ask -

was it just me, or did anybody else suffer from a total outage from
google.com and its sub-domains ?

For me, it was unavailable since about 11 a.m. GMT on July 30 to at
least 3 a.m. GMT on July 31. Man, that was BAD.

I looked today at slashdot.org ,  wired.com , zone-h.org and found no
report about this problem. Might have also been some regional network
problem (I'm located in Brazil).

Any pointers will be welcome.
