I'm not sure about that.  I do know, however, that Evolution has an
app called evolution-addressbook-export that will take your current
Evolution addressbook and convert it to a format that's easily
imported back into Evolution, as well as other mail apps.  May not
help you this time, but maybe it's something to look at for next time.
