Trying to install browser opera.

Hi folks.

To begin with, I will thank You for this enourmos good OS, Ubuntu. 

I have used it since march 2006. Today I am not using XP any longer!

There is a slight problem thou.

I am trying to install Opera as shown at this adress:
http://www.ubuntu.com/news/opera9 

First I get: Your list is outdated. (Universe and multiverse
applications are submitted in Synaptic).

I update the list. Nothing seems to work.

I need to update the channel of Ubuntu commersial of 6.06 it says.

How can I do that?

I also have posted my question in the swedish Forum, but not yet got an
answer. Perhaps You can help me out?
