Hi,
you just use the automatic updating tool. It will bring you the
version you have with patches to prevent the bugs written.

The idea that you have to run the latest thing is not true in the
Ubuntu world or other Linux disto's worlds. Matt Zimmerman wrote this
good explanation of why you don't see the latest packages.
