Removing "Restricted" Component

[Soo Qing]

At Ubuntu page, it was written that "Restricted"
component of Ubuntu is clearly separated to ensure
that it is easy to remove.

Can anyone tell me how remove it after a clean
installation of Ubuntu? I see no way in Synaptic to
distinguish between "Main" and "Restricted"!

I am aware my hardware may not work but still I would
like to remove them.
