is libc5 available?

You could go here and grab the old Debian package for libc5, extract the files 
into a safe place (/usr/local/lib/libc5) and add that to 
your /etc/ld.so.conf... perhaps.  I'm just speaking off the top of my head, 
it may not work, and I haven't tested.
