Printing from Gimp

I have looked at the error_log and it is empty. Clearly, the printing
process starts, without error, up until it is required to print the
picture. Then there is a pause and the process stops without recording
any error. I wonder why?

Incidentally, I can print from Image Viewer without any problem.
