W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these
problems
E: Couldn't find package libncurses5-dev
Ha! "Run apt-get update to correct these problems".
That's a good one.
No problem, I'll just download the deb file and dpkg
it.
booyah at ubuntu:~$ ls D*
download libncurses5-dev_5.4-4_i386.deb
booyah at ubuntu:~$ dpkg -i D*/libncurses5*

No problem I'll go back to Debian and get the 5.4-4
booyah at ubuntu:~$ ls D*
download libncurses5-dev_5.4-4_i386.deb
libncursesw5_5.4-4_i386.deb
Hmm, all they got is this _w5_ thing. I'll try it.
booyah at ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -i D*/libncursesw5*

Cool! So I'll go back and try again.

Arrgh, same thing!
One last chance. I'll go back to the old file
repository. Nope, no 5.4.4 there either.
I got it! I'll just uninstall the original 5.4.9ubuntu
using synaptic. Yow! It want's me to _also_ uninstall
a couple of hundred other filles.
The end.
