NTP: How to adjust the clock in ubuntu at the boot time?

Hi,

In Debian, both "ntp-server" and "ntpdate" are available in
/etc/init.d/. Somehow, ubuntu deletes the "/etc/init.d/ntpdate"
script ?!

May I know how to adjust the clock in ubuntu at the boot time?

Meanwhile -- until I know the proper way -- I am adding
"ntpdate xxxx" into the "ntp-server start" script.

regards,
