ill admit that im new to Linux, but i still aint a dumbut with technology. I try to use firefox(FF ill use for short) to browse the web. it cant find webpages but it can open netowrk resources and my other OS(WinXP) can browse web pages just fine. I was told to use "man route" but i dont know how to set it up and the 2 people that responded told me to look it up in the PDFs and what not and i cant find anything,if someone could explain in the email how to do man route or copy paste the manaul bit on it into the email,id aprreciate it.(i use a Gateway to connect to the internet and it already has DHCP just incase its needed infoand before i forget,i have Dapper installed onto a partition already) here's a copy of the previous emials i got on this.
I haven't been following your threads, but it seems like you're quite
new to Ubuntu and Linux in general. Check out this link--it will
probably answer most, if not all, of your configuration and usage
questions regarding Dapper.

Actually, the Ubuntu Desktop Guide is already installed on your system
per default and is easily available from the System menu under Help ->
System Documentation. From there you can search all of the help topics
directly.
Again,id really appreciate if someone just copy pastes the man route setup info or types the info into the email body itself.(you can also just add as an attachment)
