A working WPA with IBM R50p 1832 and Dapper?

I already tried network-manager-gnome, it gets the the AP but is not
able to connect. The same with wifi-radar and wpa_supplicant. That's the
reason why I'm searching for an IBM R50p 1832 on which the WPA
Encryption works.
