X with i915 breakage after today's kernel update

Hi. Has anyone experienced strange X lockups/restarts after today's kernel
upgrade?
I went from linux-image-2.6.15-26-386_2.6.15-26.44_i386.deb
to
linux-image-2.6.15-26-386_2.6.15-26.45_i386.deb
and now X mysteriously terminates after some minutes of running an OpengGL
program. It keeps attempting to restart, but gets nowhere. I have to
cold-reboot for X to be able to start again. I have an Intel 855GM card with
the i915 drivers.
Anybody?
