Flash card data recovery?

If you want to use Linux for the recovery, boot an Ubuntu Live CD,
download "foremost" and compile it (google foremost - there's a site out
there that gives step-by-step compile info) then run it against the
memory card and tell it to use type jpg (or jpeg maybe). It's done a
good job of recovering "lost" deleted files for me.
