Logitech Webcam Audio/Video

I've been following threads, reading wiki's, etc for about 2 weeks now,
and cannot seem to find any solution to this. I have a Logitech webcam
pro 3000 with built-in audio. I've gotten the video to work, but the
audio just doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Has anyone gotten this
working? Or does anyone have any clues as to why it just doesn't work?
I don't mind spending the time looking, but I'm clueless at this point
as to where to go next...
