Woah !  Viva Ubuntu !!! I have been on Mandriva a few time and I didn't 
find things like that. The reason why I came on Ubuntu was that 
developers and Community work together. On mandriva's mailing list, you 
can't imagine how frustrated you can be, when bringing a new idea, and 
have *gently* tell : " You have only been 2 months on that least, Bring 
it when you will be 2 years old" .
