Gabriel,
I couldn't seem to sort out how to do that, but I essentially wound up doing
what Johan suggested. I accessed aptitude and deselected a few of the major
categories and then went through and removed the rest manually.
I agree with you too, I had the same good feelings, but perhaps our
situations are just rather isolated. I'd hope so, at least.
