LTS 6.06 and long-term viability

I haven't been around that long, but I do fit the bill for a user with a 
newer PC, started off with a hand me down and bit by bit rebuilt it to 
something completely different.  All the while staying with Ubuntu, 
initially Breezy, now Dapper.  And frankly I can't wait to see how this 
evolves.

So to paraphrase your signature, fill your heart with hope and you will 
have the future to look forward to :)
