vmware not behaving

I can tell you Vmware-player is better, since I tried the two of them on 
  windows.
First, I don't think you'll see Virtual pc on Linux : Microsoft uses the 
host driver in the virtual machine. The guest is so link with the host 
that moving a guess to another platform will be difficult.

Second : Virtual PC poorly support Linux Guest

Third, You can import Virtual PC guest on VMware but the inverse is 
impossible.
